Largs Thistle improve over last season
As Largs Thistle moves into sixth place, the head coach Chris Monk is still happy with the team’s progress from last season.
Chris quoted: “I came in halfway last season, and the plan for this season was to improve on the squad we had and finish better.”
The players are also happy with the way the season went so far However there were some reservations. The team however is doing well with four games unbeaten so far. They currently have a tough home game against second-place Darvel and a home game against Auchinleck Talbot will test their mettle as Auchinleck is below them by one point.
With the team getting stronger due to an influx of local players boosting the team, it is looking like Largs Thistle faces an uphill battle, but they have definitely improved over the relegation scare from last season. Also depending on how Clydebank and Irvine Meadow play in their future games could see the fortunes shift in Larg's favour.
